Development of a Toolbox

Savanah River National Laboratory proposes creating a knowledge management and transferability toolkit platform to improve the transfer of the ALTEMIS approach to other researchers and Department of Energy sites wanting to implement ALTEMIS.

The platform aims to include historical reports, peer-reviewed publications, unstructured data and more. Built on a foundation of natural language processing, the platform will use classification algorithms, clustering algorithms, knowledge graphs, and temporal models to allow researchers to input prompts describing the specific environmental challenge and exploring available technologies.

Savanah River National Laboratory will accomplish this by leveraging datasets internal to the Department of Energy and exploring relevant scientific publications. The platform will allow information integration across space, time and scientific domains to allow researchers to find specific solutions for site-specific groundwater issues.
