First use of SRNL-developed micro-TCAP for tritium-containing gases in fusion studies at Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE) at the University of Rochester (Kit Heung and S. Xiao).

Next Generation Solvent implemented in the Modular Caustic Side Solvent Extraction Unit at SRS significantly improving decontamination factors and throughput; co-developed with ORNL, ANL, PNNL and Idaho.

SRNL appointed to manage the Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program in October.

SRNL qualified to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Network of Analytical Laboratories (NWAL) for Nuclear Materials Analysis (NMA) in February.
