Deborah U. Mann

Bio

Debbie Mann is the chief financial officer and the director of Business Services for the Savannah River National Lab (SRNL). In this position, she is responsible for partnering with laboratory management to accomplish strategic outcomes by providing financial support, oversight and direction.

Prior to joining SRNL, Mann served as the director of Business Operations at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). In this position, she was responsible for providing financial guidance, analysis, reporting, and maintaining oversight of the budgeting processes. While at ORNL, she also held other management positions including business manager for Nuclear Science and Engineering, Neutron Science, and Nuclear Operations. She was also the manager of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Program, the Travel and Conference Center, and the indirect budget. Prior to ORNL, she worked for the Department of Energy as an accountant for the Oak Ridge Financial Service Center and the Savannah River Operations office. She has also worked as an auditor for the Department of Energy’s Office of Inspector General.

Mann is a strong advocate for education, and while in Tennessee, she served on the board of directors for the Clinton City and Anderson County School’s Education Foundation, as well as for the Youth Leadership of Anderson County.

Mann has a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting from Concord University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia.
